XL Gratitude…

Surely you don’t think I’m going to come up with a list of “X” words, did you? Heck, I can only think of 2 or 3 words starting with “X”, that I can spell, anyway.
X-ray (as in vision) and Xylophone (and I’m not so sure I even spelled that correctly!)
I’m taking a break today from my gratitude list since I can’t think of anything starting with “X”. Hmmm…
I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite quotes about gratitude.
“Real life isn’t always going to be perfect or go our way, but the recurring acknowledgment of what is working in our lives can help us not only to survive but surmount our difficulties.”
~ Sarah Ban Breathnach
“Two kinds of gratitude: The sudden kind we feel for what we take; the larger kind we feel for what we give.”
~ Edwin Arlington Robinson

I’m grateful for the X-Men, XML and XHTML.

Dangit! I was going to say Mack is probably grateful for XML, but he beat me to it.
I am grateful for Xerox machines. For one of my first resumes, I made a copy of my hands and wrote on the (poor quality) image “The Top 10 Reasons to Hire Joanna Sutter”….then, on each finger I wrote clever attributes like being flexible (because I had to push the copy button with my feet). I couldn’t believe I got the job either.
I love X’s and O’s.
XOXOXO!
