So Grateful…

I’ve been up since 6am. Not just awake. I have been cleaning house, which I have neglected over the past few weeks. I started thinking. What is more important-having a spotless house? or spending quality time with my family? Yep, you guessed it. Quality time (see Gratitude letter Q) However, I was running out of clean undies. Laundry was a must.
It’s bedtime, but I had to work in my gratitude for today. Ready?
Gratitude Letter S
Scott. He’s my sweetheart. He is very good to me and I am lucky to have him in my life. It’s nice being in love. He’s a keeper.
Strawberries. Yummy. My aunt Kay makes the best strawberry jam. Strawberries are also delicious with my morning protein shake.
Starry Nights. I live in the country. We have lots of starry nights. When I visit other places, I notice the stars don’t shine as bright…
Saturday & Sundays. WEEKENDS. Gotta love ‘em.
Silk Pajamas. Silk pajamas are great. Never sleep in them if you have silk sheets. You could fall slide out of bed!
Sister-in-Law. Brandi is great. She is very patient with my family. We are all crazy. She has adjusted well.
Sandals. I wished I lived somewhere tropical so I could wear sandals year round. I have considered wearing them in the winter with socks, but can’t go that far!
Shakes. I love protein shakes. I can’t drink milk shakes. I’m lactose intolerant. My hips thank me.
Siblings. I have a sister named Stephanie and a brother named John. I was mean to them growing up (middle child, ya know). I’m lucky they still speak to me. ha!
Soda. Ah, Diet Mountain Dew. My fave.
See ya tomorrow.

My turn! My turn!
I am grateful for Shannon and her gratitude journal. She is reminding me to be thankful for things in my life big and Small and from A to Z. She’s also teaching me not to Sweat the Small Stuff like water Spills, or mismatched Sandals.
I am also grateful for my Sister who keeps me going when I don’t feel like going.
My Sister-in-law? She’s something Special, too. She’s an amazing wife, mom, and friend.
Shakes? 2-3 times a day, thank you protein, thank you.
Super Target. You complete me. ; )
Sunshine, Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Sundae’s. Surely, there’s more! But it’s time to hit the Sheets!
Oh, and SWEET dreams.

Hold up…YOU DON’T HAVE SUPER TARGET? It’s just a great big glorious Target, with groceries. We have them on every corner.
Come for a visit and we’ll go Shopping. Speaking of which…why isn’t Shopping on your list? ; )

I totally forgot SHOPPING. I guess because I stayed in my pj’s most of yesterday. The last thing I thought of was shopping. My list could be a mile long. Good think I restricted myself to 10!

I am blown away that you guys do not have Super Target’s. I rank it right up there with peanut butter on my favorite things list.
